UCSB’s Department Theatre and Dance has a dance concert each Fall, and the shows are always provocative, daring and highly entertaining. “Double Exposure.” this year’s edition, featured 6 new works choreographed by 3 students, 2 T&D faculty members and 1 guest artist. Ranging from ritualistic to funny and fantastical, there was much to savor in this potpourri of artistic expression on the dance floor. Students Andrea Rhoades, Kaydee Black, and Holly Warner, faculty members Brooke Smiley and Christina McCarthy, and guest artist Andrea Miller, as well as the costume and lighting designers and the tech crew, all deserve kudos for a job superbly well done. It was well worth the exposure!
