Breaking glass

When director John Blondell and his merry band of thespians of Lit Moon Theatre Company tackle a classic, you can expect the unexpected to reign. Mixing the seemingly anarchical with intoxicating playfulness and rigorous attention to details while throwing new light on well known plays are the hallmarks of this this daring troupe. To kick off the celebration of their 25th season of experimental and inquisitive palymaking, Tennessee Williams’s “The Glass Menagerie” will be broken and reassembled like you’ve never seen it before. Lit Moon collaborates with local and international artists and they have taken their unique productions to Europe, the Balkans, Scotland, Canada & China. I’ve had the privilege to be involved in most of their local productions since 2001 and captured many of my favorite images from them, as well as the international festivals they have presented in Santa Barbara. Herewith, a few publicity photos for this new play at Westmont College’s Porter Theater, Sept. 2 – 4, 2016. Go there!
