David Ives has taken Moliere’s biting satirical wit and punched it up a few notches to create “The School for Liars,” a rapid-fire delight filled with deliciously rhyming dialog and non-stop action laced with slapstick and dizzying fun now, playing at the New Vic Theatre. Following and amplifying the template Mr. Ives created with the similarly hilarious “The Liar,” which Ensemble Theatre Company also staged in the not too distant past, this is one play you need to see in these trying times – it will make you forget all your woes!
