The third week of the Doug Elkins Choreography, etc. 4-week residency at the Lobero Theatre, part of DANCEWORKS Santa Barbara’s Tenth Anniversary Celebration, came to an end with further refining of the elements that will make up the whole of “Kintsugi,” an intellectually and aesthetically stimulating piece of dance and theater. Musical choices are falling into place and each segment is being honed to perfection as this new work of dance art is being born on the stage of the storied Lobero.
