Hankus Netsky, Lorin Sklamberg, Ilene Stahl and Mark Berney played to a packed house at Congregation B’nai B’rith and put on a dazzling show of traditional and more modern Klezmer tunes and songs. Tuesday evening was cold by Santa Barbara standards, but things heated up quickly after the troupe took the stage, and naturally, by the end, audience members couldn’t stay in their seats any longer and joined in the festivities. A lavish reception followed and there were a lot of smiles in the room. A co-presentation of UCSB Arts and Lectures and Congregation B’nai B’rith.
