Actually there were 4 Concerts for Young People presented by the Santa Barbara Symphony at the Granada Theatre last week. 4,000 4th and 5th grade students from the greater Santa Barbara area were treated to a varied and educational program by members of the SBS orchestra and visiting conductor David Lockington, who used paintings to help students visualize what the music “felt” like.
