Wittily barbed rhymes, back-stabbing, hypocrisy by the wheelbarrow load and costumes galore await those lucky enough to attend a performance of David Ives’s “The School for Lies,” Ensemble Theatre’s season-opening show beginning this Thursday. Based on Moliere’s “The Misanthrope,” this is 90 minutes of fast-paced fun so hilarious you’ll be in stitches the entire time as the misanthropic Frank lampoons everyone on his way to falling victim to the very character flaws he despises, all in the name of love.
