Graham Nash loves to perform solo. Well almost solo – guitarist Shane Fontayne is a very important part of his shows, a true collaborator and inspiration. Nash is fond of pointing out that one of the best things about performing without those “other guys” is that he gets to do all the songs he wants to do. Another pleasure for him and the audience is that “an evening with” includes his fascinating back stories about the songs, as well as anything else that strikes his fancy. The main attraction is the wealth of songs he has written, and he and Mr. Fontayne perform them and a few covers with passion and musical beauty. It all makes for a pretty damned entertaining show!
