Founder/director Rosalina Macisco and crew at Santa Barbara Dance Institute put on a spring “Event-of-the-Year” show by the participants in their in-school and after-school programs for elementary school students and teens in the Santa Barbara area. SBDI’s mission is to help children discover their physical and intellectual potential as well as gain an appreciation for art and community – through dance! Discipline, exercise and fun all blended together in the show which included audience participation and a lesson about bullying. Easy to see they were having a blast.
