Most classical orchestral concerts feature a concerto with a single guest artist in the limelight (or a rhapsody, or another relatively short piece) playing piano, violin, or cello etc. In a delightful programming move, furthering their spirit of collaborating with other local arts organizations, the Santa Barbara Symphony’s February outing presented Beethoven’s Triple concerto for violin, cello and piano with Camerata Pacifica’s Paul Huang, Ani Aznavoorian and Gilles Vonsattel, respectively, playing with their usual verve and intensity. Thus, Santa Barbara was blessed with three times the listening pleasure as part of a varied and beautiful concert.
