Things are getting more and more interesting as Doug Elkins, Lex Dones, Carolyn Cryer, Cori Marquis, Donelle Oakley, Eric Parra and Elias Rosas put the finishing touches on the various duets, quartets, and ensemble dance segments that will make up “Kintsugi.” Some new musical choices are adding to the intrigue too. All that’s left (ha, ha!) is working on transitions between the dances, costumes, lighting and putting it all together in the final week of the birth of what is shaping up to be a tour de force! This Friday and Saturday at the Lobero Theatre you can see how it all turns out and be a part of DANCEWORKS Santa Barbara’s 10th Anniversary Celebration with the added bonus of solo works by all of the DANCEWORKS alumni choreographers. A stellar lineup of some of the best choreograpers in the world, Aszure Barton, Larry Keigwin, Brian Brooks, Mark Dendy, Adam Barruch, Shannon Gillen and Kate Weare, as well as Doug Varone, will all be in attendance.
