Ensemble Theatre Company’s production of Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure” utilized haze machines to create atmosphere, but that is where the trickery ended in their riveting and beautifully realized update of this fascinatingly timely exploration of sexual exploitation. They didn’t need no stinkin’ mirrors to create magic on the stage of the New Vic. Hats off to the superb cast, artistic team, crew and staff of SB’s premier professional theatrical company!
