Which amounts to “Much Ado About Nothing” in the case of this Tango. Mixed signals, jealous plots, blundering fools, a resurrection, a lot of tears, angst, some singing & dancing, and even great merriment? Naked Shakes strike again. In the capable hands of director Irwin Appel and a crew of fine actors in UCSB’s Theater & Dance Department, it all adds up to a rollicking good time. So much more fun to watch others going thru all that drama than to have to live it yourself. That’s the whole idea, right? Catharsis at its best, especially with a happy ending! Don’t miss it at the Studio Theater on campus @ UCSB through Aug. 20th.
