Billed as an epic face-off, the Chuck Prophet and Garland Jeffreys show was definitely an evening of high-energy rock’n and rooollin’ good times. This Sings Like Hell (what is it, number 300?) show started off with a set by long-time Prophet collaborator and big-talent-in-her-own-right Stephanie Finch. Then things kicked up a notch higher when Chuck and the rest of the Mission Express joined Stephanie for some of Chuck’s best. Then the wild man was in the aisles as Garland Jeffreys exploded into song and the show achieved lift off at full velocity. Two wild men and a kickin’ band spelled dancin’ in the seats – and the aisles.
